Tuesday: Post Hitcock viewing assignment. 

Wednesday - Thursday: "A Perfect Murder"

Monday: Disussion on animated films? Favorites? Check out IMDb and discuss. Assignment. 

Tuesday - Wednesday: Wallace and Gromit. 

Thursday - Friday: Hithcock introduciton. Dial "M" for Murder.

Monday: Introduction to Horror film genre, presentation and notes on history of horror film.

Monday - Wednesday: "Little Miss Sunshine" Thursday and Friday: Post viewing discussion and assignment.

Week Seven: Oct. 13th - 17th

Monday: Presentation and notes on film genre. 

Tuesday: Comedy genre activity. 

Wednesday: Terms quiz. 

Thursday - Friday: No School, MEA break.

Week Six: Oct. 6th - 10th

Monday - Wednesday: Watching "Shawshank Redemption" 

Thursday - Friday: Post-viewing activity/assignment and quiz on lighting. 

Week Five: Sept. 28th - Oct. 3rd *midterms Wednesday

Monday: Lighting film #2. Watching "Gran Torino" - focus is on lighting in the scenes and how it is used to give characters depth.

Tuesday - Wednesday: Continue watching the film and taking notes on lighting and characters.

Thursday: Post-viewing assignment; handout.

Friday: Quiz on camera angles, lighting and shots.

Week Four: Sept. 22nd - 26th *Fall Festival Week

Monday - Tuesday: Finishing Film. 

Wednesday: No class - Obstacle Course activity. 

Thursday: post-viewing assignment and discussion. 

Friday: Sharing Characterization slides. Starting film or preparing notes, depending on time remaining after presentations.

Week Three: Sept. 15th - 19th

Monday - Tuesday: Finishing film, post-viewing assignment.

Wednesday: Lighting notes,

Thursday: Continue lighting notes. 

Friday: Film  - "Slumdog Millionaire". Keeping notes on lighting, camera angles and how they affect the story and character development.

Week Two: Sept. 8th - 12th

Monday: Part 2 film techniques notes. Quiz.

Tuesday: Quiz. Begin film, "No Country for Old Men" - taking notes on techniques and characters.

Wednesday - Friday: Continuing film.

Week One: Sept. 1st - 5th

Monday: No School 

Tuesday: Get to know you, get to know me activities. Discussion on films that students like to watch, why?

Wednesday: Film webquest and websites to know. Expectations of class and permission slips.

Thursday: IMDB web search.
