This is my 27th year teaching in Sebeka. I started my teaching career here in 1998 and have enjoyed my experiences at SHS. I teach Language Arts grades 6-12 and enjoy working with teenagers (most of the time)!!

In the fall of 2005, I took over as the head volleyball coach. I still coach that, and I also coach golf, and direct the One Act Play. I have also coached JV qne junior high girls basketball, JV and junior high softball, and Speech in my time at Sebeka. I have also been the Student Council Advisor, Yearbook Advisor, and TroJournal Advisor. I am currently the Prom Co-Advisor. I live in Sebeka with my husband, Kelly, and our daughters, Annika, a freshman at VCSU, and Sofia, a SHS junior. We have a family cat, Rambo!

I grew up in Proctor, Minnesota, and I graduated from high school in 1993. I attended Winona State University in Winona, MN. While in college I played volleyball and wrote for the campus newspaper and magazine. I graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Teaching English.

In my spare time, you will find me hanging out with my family. I enjoy golfing, traveling, reading, and spending time at the lake in the summer!
