the National Collegiate Athletic Association or NCAA is broken down into three divisions (DI, DII, and DIII) . Across the country there are over 350 schools that include NCAA sports. If you are planning on competing at a school with NCAA sports you need to register with the Eligibility Center.
In order to be eligible to play Division I or II college sports, students must meet certain academic standards in core course completion, GPA in core classes, and SAT/ACT scores.

NAIA stands for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and includes over 240 schools across the nation. NAIA sponsors 16 collegiate sports including activities such as bowling, competitive cheerleading, competitive dance, football, basketball and more! PlayNAIA is the official clearing house for NAIA eligibility. If you are a student athlete looking to play at a school designated NAIA you need to register with the NAIA Eligibility Center.
NJCAA stands for the National Junior College Athletic Association and provide students the opportunity to pursue athletics at a 2-year college program with options to later transfer to a 4-year university. Junior colleges can be wonderful options for students who may not be ready for a larger university setting who are looking to improve their athletic and academics. Junior colleges are also markedly less expensive in comparison to 4-year universities.
