Maintenance Fellows Program
Students who are graduating might consider a career pathway opportunity with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. In this program you would work alongside conservation professionals to gain technical expertise in maintaining property assets and habitat management. Alaska Works
Alaska Works is a non-profit program that connects Alaskans with job opportunities in construction. Through a partnership with employers, community organizations, educators, and the state, Alaska Works is able to provide education and training.
Free Programs through Alaska Works include:
You must be 18 or older with a valid, ID or driver's license
Copy of birth certificate
High school diploma/GED and transcripts
Copy of social security card
Work Keys test score of 4 or higher

A free, residential job training and education program for 16- through 24-year-olds, with 120+ locations nationwide.

Alaska Career College (ACC) is located in Anchorage and has been providing training opportunities for students for 39 years. Programs include the following:
