Pre-Calculus, as the name implies, is a class whose purpose is to sharpen the algebraic and trigonometric skills necessary to be successful in Calculus. In general, the first half of the class is hardcore algebra, mostly stuff you probably slept through or forgot from Algebra II, while the second half consists of deep trigonometric concepts built upon the simple right triangle trigonometry you definitely forgot from Geometry.
