The following terms and phrases – OR ANY TERMS AND PHRASES WITH SIMILAR MEANINGS – suggesting a distressed sale or language suggesting a dealer has received special pricing or inventory, are damaging to the Hyundai brand. They must not be used in advertising/marketing:

Pricing Guidelines

Note that these guidelines do not prohibit price advertising, and they do not apply to the actual selling or leasing price of a vehicle. However, they do establish standards designed to prevent price advertising that consumers might interpret as misleading. The pricing guidelines below will be in effect until the national announcement of the Final Pay period as announced in the National Incentive announcement.

The Minimum Allowable Advertising Price (MAAP) shall be:

1. MAAP = (Dealer Invoice + Freight and Installed Options) - (National Consumer Facing Offers)

● Inclusion/exclusion of freight charges must comply with state laws. ● Only HMA/HMF National or Regional customer cash/rebates (Retail Bonus Cash, Sales Event Cash or HMF Bonus Cash) may be used to reduce an advertised price below dealer invoice for new Model Year vehicles.

2. Service Rental Car will be considered new vehicles as it pertains to MAAP.

Reference to “Credit” should not infer that all credit types are approved. References or offers relating to credit should be based on approved or pending approval. Approved uses of Credit in advertising:

1. All new car advertising must be exclusively Hyundai advertising (NO GENESIS ALSO) 2. Off website advertising must include dealer’s DBA name, address, telephone number and URL. 3. Vehicle photography and descriptions must be consistent with the Hyundai model advertised. Must match the Year, Make, Model, and Trim of vehicle. 4. The spelling of Hyundai and the names of Hyundai models must be accurate5. The Hyundai Logo CANNOT be altered & needs clear spacing6.
