Clear and Effective Communication
Students can demonstrate organized and purposeful communication.
Students can gather information from actively speaking, listening, and participating in class.
The Spanish 1 students were practicing weather vocabulary outside to enhance their language acquisition skills in a natural setting.
The Math 2 students were working on converting quadratic equations from standard form to vertex form and sharing their solutions with the group for collaborative learning.

Zac participates in Work based Learning at Husky Technologies over the summer. Zac attends classroom instruction, shadows and learns from Husky employees and works in Operations on several tools. Currently, Zac is working in AMC (Advanced Manifold Cell) as a loader.

The Creative Writing students each wrote two sentences, folded their paper, passed it to a peer, who added two more sentences, collectively creating a collaborative fictional piece.
