Poetry Outloud
Students participated in the Annual Poetry Outloud Competition. Students memorize and recite two poems. They are judged on a variety of criteria.
Congratulations to Senior Samantha Urbina for placing 1st in the BFA competition. Samantha will represent the school at the state competition!
Clear and Effective Communication
Students can demonstrate organized and purposeful communication.

Leigh Brown and Riley Tierney are working on measuring the impact of oxygen intake on heart rate in advanced biology class.

Anatomy & Physiology students developing models(proficiency) showing the relationship between the diaphragm and the lungs. The straw represents the trachea, the small balloons represent the alveoli within the lungs, and the large balloon at the bottom of the bottle represents the diaphragm.
Students are working hard to use all of their knowledge to work backwards to find a system of equations with a specific solution.
