Session C D306 : AI Orientation
Designing Teacher and Student AI Orientation Programs, AI literacy
Join me for an insightful session on how MEF University, as an "AI-Integrated University," is strategically shaping the future of higher education. Moving beyond the hype, I will detail the principled and structured methodology guiding the university's transformation: systematic instructional design.
In this session, I will share the story of MEF University's journey, from developing a comprehensive, Senate-approved AI Policy to empowering both faculty and students with essential AI literacy skills.
This session offers more than a case study; it provides a model to consider. While I will primarily be presenting the MEF journey, I will include short, guided activities to help you connect these experiences to your own institutional context. You will leave with concrete examples and new perspectives from my institution's work to inform and inspire your own strategic planning for AI integration.
