If we are able to offer a Drafting 2 class, you will learn how to use the Autodesk Inventor software to create 3D models. In the meantime, this module will give you a brief introduction to 3D modeling using another Autodesk platform called Tinkercad. It is a web-based and simplified version of 3D modeling that is great for beginners.
Follow these steps to join our Drafting 1 Honors class in Tinkercad:
1) Go to the class by using this link: https://www.tinkercad.com/joinclass/NAUX7P3PH
2) Select Email or Username option
3) Sign into Autodesk using your FLVS email and password (We created Autodesk accounts at the beginning of the year to download AutoCAD)
Once you click on Classes in the left menu, Drafting 1 Honors will be listed. Moving forward, you will be able to log into Tinkercad simply by using your Autodesk username and password (should be the same as your FLVS email and password).
