Egg Drop Enrichment Activity (Optional)
1) Build your Egg Drop Structure as designed in the multiview drawing (using the materials specified and to the size drawn). After construction, take pictures of front view, right side view and top view before testing.
2) Record your Test of the Egg Drop Structure by recording the testing procedure. Place a raw egg in a zip lock bag (to reduce mess in case of failure) and drop off of a high point (could be from the top of a ladder or chair, top of a staircase landing, etc.).
***Please be sure to ensure safety first and use parental supervision***
Feel free to conduct several trials of test to prove success. Another option is to increase drop height each test.
If structure fails on first test, how can you change the design to improve?
5) Submit your image files of the structure and the video file of the test by uploading them to assignment
