Dear Secondary One students, this is the first piece of assignment for Home-Based Learning (HBL) in 2023. You'll be learning about New Media Literacy - How to curate information and to ensure that the information you search for is safe and authentic.  

Instructions for Students

Follow the instructions below to complete your HBL assignment:

1) Log in to Student Learning Space (SLS) - You should be logging in to SLS with MIMS

2) Enter your Student ICON email and password in the log-in page 

3) Navigate to the assignment page and complete the assignment titled '2023 HBL Assignment 10 Feb 2023'

4) NOTE: The assignment will go live on SLS on 10 February 2023, and a notification will be sent to you via email by SLS. There will also be a Google Classroom post about the assignment. So please look out for these assignment notifications 

5) Complete your assignment and submit it to your teacher via SLS before the deadline on 10 February 2023, 11:59pm

If you have problems / issues logging in to SLS:

1) Carry out a password self-reset - Click on the 'Forget password?' link on the MIMS log-in page

or

2) Navigate to the ICT Services Portal and make a request to reset your password - The link to the portal can be found on your school website

3) (As a last resort) Contact your DSP teacher via email for assistance
