Dear Secondary One students

Welcome back to the new term!

Looking back, we have made meaningful progress in our learning of ICT skills and important learning platforms and tools. We started out with Secondary One ICT Induction, when we enabled your learning with all the basic setups and access to all the essential learning platforms and accounts.

We moved on to learning about Google Drive and Google Mail, two fundamental pillars - Google Drive is the backbone and serves as a link to all Google apps, while Google Mail is your main communication channel with your teachers. You went on to learn about essential tools such as Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sites and eventually receive your iPad as your PLD, when your use of ICT in learning will begin to transform greatly.

Congratulations for making this big leap forward in the short space of one term!

For this term, we will start by learning about the use and creation of Google Form during your T2W1 HBL, as we wrap up everything we have learnt about Google Workspace.

Instructions for Students

You are to watch all the videos about the creation of Google Form.

After viewing the videos, create a Google Form to find out from your Secondary One schoolmates about their opinions and choices of our school canteen food. The Google Form should include the following requirements:

• A Google Form title

• A description of the Google Form - The description should describe the purpose of the Google Form

• At least ONE short answer question

• At least ONE multiple-choice question

• At least ONE question with checkboxes

• At least ONE question to be a 'required' question

• Added Digital Skills Programme (DSP) teacher(s) as collaborator

View the following videos about Google Form, and complete the assignment. For any Google Slides in the lesson materials, tap / click on the expand icon at the top right hand corner of each set of slides to enlarge and open the slides in a new, larger window.
