植物特性:
常綠喬木,樹皮暗褐色,老幹具有不規則之裂痕,小枝帶紅褐色,具皮孔。葉為偶數羽狀複葉,小葉長橢圓形,葉基歪斜,葉尖鈍,葉緣為全緣。花序為總狀花序,腋生,黃色而帶有紫紅色線紋。萊果圓筒狀略圓胖、長橢圓形,長7-20公分,徑約2.5公分,黃褐色;內有黑褐色種子5-6粒,形態不一。果皮脆薄,內含柔軟褐色果肉及少許硬纖維,併有種子數粒。果肉富含糖分及醋酸、酒石酸和枸櫞酸等,味酸甜可口。
花期:5月-9月 果期:12月- 5月
