If a student receiving Special Education is placed on Homebound due to a pregnancy-related condition, who is responsible for providing services?
Students who qualify for both Special Education and Pregnancy Related Services (PRS) while on Homebound must receive services through both programs. The ARD Committee determines the student's special education homebound services, while the PRS provider delivers the required PRS instructional hours. One program does not replace the other. (SAAH 9.12.1)
