First Day of School
To accommodate the start of the academic year, with new families joining throughout the school, and to prevent the driveway from becoming too congested, we are staggering the start of the school day for Tuesday 2nd September only. For students in Reception to Year 6 this is between 08.45 and 09.15, and for students in Year 7 and above this is between 08.00 and 08.30.
We understand that parents with children in different sections of the school are not going to wish to hang around, so please bring the younger sibling to class when you bring your Middle or Senior School son or daughter to school.
At the end of the day, students may be collected from this same location.
Pastoral Support
Throughout your child's time in the Senior School, your key contact will be your child's Form Tutor, whom they see every morning and afternoon for registration. We will be notifying you of your son or daughter's Form Tutor for the coming year in due course.
At the start of the academic year you will have the opportunity to meet your child's Form Tutor at the Parent Information Evening for the Senior School.
Senior School Curriculum & Teaching
Please see our Curriculum MicroSites for specific details on what will be taught in each year group in the Senior School.
Senior School lessons will be taught at various locations around the school. Maths and English are mostly taught on the ground floor of the Moberly Building, and Social Sciences are taught on the first floor. Science lessons take place in the Simpson Building, and there are other specialist teaching areas such as the Drama Studio, D&T Workshop, Media Suite, Languages Centre, Music Rooms and Art Room.
