Please note that Buenos Aires has two airports: the regional Jorge Newbery airport (AEP) and the international Ministro Pistarini Airport, commonly known as Ezeiza (EZE).
If you are arranging your own transfer from the airport to your accommodation:
We recommend that you do not hail a taxi in front of the airport. We recommend that you do not use ArBus service (or any public transportation) because you will need a SUBE card which you will not yet have.
Manuel Tienda Leon (a private bus transfer from EZE to the Retiro neighborhood), located in Terminal A as you exit customs. From Retiro, you can either take public transportation or a shorter taxi ride to your housing from there. Check Manuel Tienda Leon’s website for schedule and rates: Tienda León Aeropuerto.
It is the cheapest private transport if you do not want to use public transport, you will need to download the cabify app on your cell phone and register with an email account, they accept payments in cash and/or debit and credit cards.
Car service (remis) from inside the airport (they have a stand after you exit customs nearby the McDonald’s).
