With the Expanish App, you get access to many of the information you need, all in one place!

How to download and log into the app!

Step 1: Download it in the App Store or Google Play.

Step 2: Log in with the code you got in your Admissions Letter.

How to use the app

In this section you will find out more about the different features found in our app, and how to use them.

Classes

Class schedule

When you log into the app, you’ll find your schedule in a calendar format. By selecting a specific date, you can view all the classes you have that day. For each class, you’ll see:

The time of the class
The classroom number
The teacher’s name

*Keep in mind: Your definitive class schedule will be confirmed the Monday in which your class starts.

Class comments

Teachers and staff may leave comments in your class schedule. These are used to share important updates or useful information, such as:

Special activities (e.g., Expanish in the City)
Meeting points
Location details
Other relevant notices

*Keep in mind: In the "More" tab you can also see your class attendance, however it does not update automatically!

2. Messages

In the Messages section, you have the option to send a message to the school. Depending on your question, the message will be forwarded to the front desk, academic team, or activities team. The corresponding team will then reply to you through the app.

*Keep in mind: This is not an automatic service. The reply might take a while depending on the difficulty of the topic.

3. Accommodation

Accommodation assignment

In the Accommodation section of the app, you will find the details of your accommodation. This includes the information about the place you’ve been assigned to stay during your program (available 2 weeks before arrival).

Photos of your housing

For some types of accommodations (residences and studios), you’ll also be able to view photos. These images are uploaded by the school to give you a clear idea of your housing before and during your stay. Please note that these are general photos of the accommodation and not of the specific room assigned to you.

Description and details

Along with photos, you will see a description of your accommodation. This includes all the important details about the housing, such as:

General information about the property
Facilities available
Any specific notes about your stay

4. Activities

Browse activities

When you open the Activities section of the app, you’ll see a list of all the activities available during your stay. These can include both free activities and paid activities.

From the app, you can easily:

Sign up for any activity that interests you.
Cancel your participation if you change your plans.

Everything can be managed directly from the app with just a few clicks.

Payment for paid activities

If an activity requires payment, please complete the payment at the school’s front desk. Your participation will only be confirmed once the payment has been made.

Please note: Paid activities will include a disclaimer within their description in the app.

Extras in the App

Besides your schedule, housing, and activities, the app also gives you access to other useful sections:

1. Payments

In this section, you can check if you have any outstanding payments with the school. This helps you stay up to date with your financial obligations.

2. Terms and Conditions

Here you’ll find the official policies and rules that apply to your program. It’s important to review them to fully understand your rights and responsibilities as a student.

3. FAQ

The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section contains quick answers to common questions about classes, housing, activities, and school services. It’s a great first place to look if you need information.

4. Invoices and Other Documents

You’ll also be able to view and download your invoices and other relevant documents directly from the app. This makes it easy to keep track of your payments and any official paperwork you might need.
