• Never leave your valuables unattended, even at the Expanish campus. In public places (restaurants) keep your bags with you at all times, and do not rest valuables like cell phones and wallets on tables or counters. Do not carry around items with you that are not necessary for your daily routine. Keep in mind which of your personal items you feel are irreplaceable, and leave them at home.

• Always take a copy of your passport with you, but do not take the original unless you need it. 

• Do not allow any strangers into your residence. When walking into your house at night have your keys ready and be sure that the door is fully closed behind you.

• Wear backpacks on your front while in the public transportation to avoid someone stealing something out of the back. Always use a bag that zips closed and hide valuables deep within bags.
