Many families are wondering about the future of SNAP benefits, and our community is coming together to make sure everyone has access to food and support. Below, you’ll find information about local food pantries, school pantries, and restaurants offering free or low-cost meals.
Please feel free to share these resources with anyone who might need a little extra help — we’re all in this together.
If you’re in a position to give, there are so many small ways to make a big difference:
🥫 Donate nonperishable food, toiletries, or household essentials to your local pantry. Like Clark County Food Bank, Vancouver Free Fridge Project, or SHARE Vancouver.
💪 Volunteer at a food pantry or community food distribution event.
🚗 Offer to pick up groceries or pantry items for a neighbor who doesn’t have transportation.
🍽️ Support local restaurants that offer “Pay It Forward” programs providing meals for families in need.
☕ Pay it forward: covering someone’s meal, groceries, or even a cup of coffee can brighten their day and make a big difference.
🌷 Spread kindness: check in with families or friends who might be struggling and share available resources.
Together, even small acts of care can make a big difference for our community.
Note: Hours and availability can change, so it’s a good idea to call or check online before you go

Share Vancouver partners with Evergreen School District to further it's missions for equitable access to housing and food stability for all. The backpack program is to help families feed their kids on the weekends. Share provides reusable cloth bags that have ~7 lbs of non-perishable foods. These are sent home with students on Thursdays and Fridays. And the bags need to be returned on Monday or Tuesday. If your family could benefit from this program please fill out our google form or stop by HCA to sign up in person.
EPS provides one free breakfast and lunch to all students every school day! If you think your family would qualify for free and reduced lunch please apply! This can qualify your student for college scholarships and additional resources! Check out EPS food and nutrition website for more details: click here (they call it a CNS benefit application now)
