Whatever you say here stays here. It's secret, confidential, and not shared with others. Students I cannot share what you tell me with your parents or anyone. However there are 4 exceptions. 

1. you tell us that you are hurting yourself

2. someone is hurting you

3. you are thinking of hurting someone else

4. you give us permission to share

Then and only then will that information will be shared with the appropriate parties. Why? well it's for safety (counselors are mandatory reporters by law) and want to make sure all students are safe at school and in the community. Also in consideration of your permission/consent.
