Brendan So glad you are really enjoying the trip. It is great to read about your daily experience and see the pictures. As far as the meals, sounds like when I was in China, didn't really know what we were eating, but for the most part it was petty good. Have fun and take in all you can. Keep on writing. Love ya

Hi, Jack and friends-

I visited Japan 50 years ago when my husband was in the army stationed in Korea. I remember how awesome the shrines were and especially the little prayer papers tied to branches for ancestors.

Also, the cherry blossoms were blooming. Have a great time. Kate
