A day filled with nervous excitement and sadness about leaving. Trippers gave presentations in Japanese to KJ students on American cultural topics, gave farewell speeches, heard the KJ school song, and received certificates,. Their were lots and lots of laughter, smiles, hugs, and goodbyes. KJ teachers and students, particularly the fantastic hosts and their families, have created a wealth of memories to last a lifetime. It's not "sayonara," (goodbye) but "mata aimashou!" (let's meet again).
