We made it to Narita Airport ahead of schedule! After a long, but uneventful flight, we hung out at the airport for a while to validate Japan Rail Passes, get seat reservations for all our longer train rides, buy metro passes for our new two days in TOKYO!

We also enjoyed our first trip in to a Japanese "konbini" or convenience store for a quick dinner. We're settling into our first night at the youth hostel, dreaming of all the adventures to come.
