• be unable to hold information long enough to work with it

• struggle to keep track of steps in a process

• be unable to see patterns and relationships

• not hold information long enough in order to copy it

• have difficulty matching language with concepts and symbols

• fail to self-correct due to losing focus on the purpose and details
