Does Not Follow Through

The student may:

• Have no back-up plan when things get hard

  • can't anticipate barriers or consequences

  • can 't identify resources needed

  • does not know when or how to ask for help

  • does not have or use fix-up strategies

  • is not aware of when he or she needs help

• Have poor self-monitoring skills

  • can't identify attributes of a quality product

  • can't use rubrics and checklists to self-assess

  • does not give self credit for small successes
