The Portrait of a Graduate is a process by which we identify our shared aspirations, in collaboration with many stakeholders, to build a unified and collective vision for our students. The diverse perspectives from a variety of stakeholders were essential for creating a vision, through which we can transform our educational experiences. During our design process, we identified the skills and mindsets that our children need for success in their futures and defined each of these. These prioritized attributes illustrated in the Portrait of a Spartan Graduate represent the characteristics that we will instill and cultivate in all of our scholars from preschool through graduation.
While our Portrait of a Spartan Graduate was locally developed, it is a global system used by many school districts, and can be considered our North Star as we strive to transform our educational system.
