District Guiding Coalition will establish benchmarks for the 2024-2025 PLC Project at each level

• Identify the "loose and tight" elements 

Continue to identify and unpack essential standards (literacy and math minimally)

PLTs develop common formative assessments for essential standards

Operationalize Year 2 of NY PLC Project 

Introduce and begin implementation of Panorama Student Success platform

Implement use of data guideposts for consistent support at each tier of instruction for grades K-8

Enhance and build upon Tier 2 support time (WIN, PG Time, SALT) at each level, to support student learning

Streamline access to intervention and extension instructional resources and evidence-based best strategies

Provide time for teacher teams to evaluate and discuss data to better inform WIN groupings, especially at Elementary and Middle School

Increased communication with families about student learning, as it relates to learning the identified essential standards

Establish and reignite PK-12 Grading Committee

Establish building-level grading teams at Pine Grove and Central High School

Complete and finalize beliefs to practices statements to reflect our collective commitments

Explore standards-based grading and reporting to provide more individualized feedback to families specific to learning

Continue to engage our School Board in grading discussions (ex. book study) and professional learning

Continued focus on the Science of Reading at all levels to align all literacy practices districtwide

Professional learning to provide scaffolded instruction so that students may access grade-level content

Professional learning to support English Language Learners and Multilingual Learners 

Further professional learning to maximize use of instructional and assessment resources

Examine courses in high school that focus on post-secondary preparation (financial literacy, etc.)

Continue to grow SALT time at high school to address student needs related to post-secondary preparation
