• Support and train new Professional Learning Team  Leaders to effectively facilitate collaborative teams

• Utilize instructional specialists for support in coaching individuals and teams

• Focus on math essential standards (PK-5) within professional learning teams

• Integrate PLTs as an essential element in the MTSS process

  • Enhance resources to support interventions and extensions

  • Use data to drive effective tiered interventions

  • Implement best practices & resources for tiered interventions

  • Leverage staff for support during Tier 2 reteach/extension

Strengthening the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS):

• Administering an MTSS survey to inform goals.
  
  

• Clarifying special education referral prerequisites (data, interventions, progress monitoring, etc.)

• Continuation of Panorama Student Success Platform for documentation and monitoring of student support

• Develop policies and practices that reflect standards-based grading practices

• Pilot a standards-based gradebook in preparation for the transition to a standards-based report card

• Implement Grading Action plan at all levels

• Align elementary grading practices and explore report card updates to reflect best practices

• Strengthening vertical alignment by examining academic data between transition years 

  1. PK→K: revisit Kindergarten screening processes
