Pupils in S6 have one period per week of personal, social and health education (PSHE).

PSHE is an important part of each young person’s experience in Williamwood High School. The Pupil Support team have remodelled the PSHE programme with consistency and challenge at the heart of this restructuring. The course breakdown is available on the school website, with the lessons designed to be age appropriate and engaging for each respective year group.

In S6 PSHE, pupils will complete the UCAS application process and college application process. Pupils will explore thoroughly, the multitude of pathways out of Secondary education and learn about Apprenticeships, further education, higher education, employment and volunteering opportunities.

In addition, pupils will navigate the challenges relating to decisions they will face in their final year in Secondary education and the year beyond.
