ACE Awards

Here at Killarney, we are proud to celebrate all the outstanding achievements of our students above and beyond their academic ones.

We do this regularly with our ACE awards; these stand for Academics, Character, and Excellence.


Our ACE awards are regularly celebrated within the school community. Each month we honour those students who have gone the extra mile for their classmates, school, or school work.

During assemblies, or over our live streamed morning announcements we celebrate the achievements of our students. Our students may be acknowledged for:

  • Acts of kindness; such as helping a student out with lunch or returning lost items.

  • Acts of service & leadership, where put in extra effort to help a teacher or the school to prepare for a special event.

  • Acts of achievement, where students have worked hard to improve in their academics.

The "Limo Lunch" is one example how we honour are ACE winners. These students get to leave for lunch early to be taken in a limo with the Principal for a delicious lunch!

Awards Ceremonies

Awards night is an exciting night for the staff and students of Killarney Junior High. It is a great joy to celebrate the achievements of our students and all of the hard work they have done. Family and friends are welcome to join us as we acknowledge the academics, leadership, and individual achievements of our students.
