CAS Visual Art Standards

Project Requirements

• Choose a photo from your phone/social media of a landscape, portrait, and still life (Consider composition: rule of thirds/odds, things going off the page, rule of odds, triangles)

• Trace the outlines on your photo and use printmaking techniques to create a monotype of your piece

• Experiment with various techniques to create several different monotypes with different colors/designs

• Document your progress by taking photos during the process and take a professional photo of the final artwork

• Reflect verbally and in writing
