Project Requirements

• Choose a portrait of someone that you consider to be a hero in your life 

• Describe the qualities that make that person your hero

• Describe the qualities of your hero and how your portrait shows those traits

• Discuss composition, value, 

• Practice a simple drawing using the grid drawing technique 

• Practice shading techniques

• Use the grid method to transfer a picture of your hero to your final paper

• Use shading techniques to add value to your portrait
