Create a graduation cap using slabs for the top and bottom. Design the top of the cap using your graduation year and any other images,  symbols, or quotes

1. Cut a 7 X 7 template for the top and a 3 X  rectangle for the bottom

2. What will you add to the top of your graduation cap? 

   1. Brainstorm images and themes relating to graduation

      1. Examples/ideas: Quotes, class year, tassel

      2. 
         

   2. Find a reference photo and sketch your idea in your sketchbook

3. Watch videos for steps to create a slab box and take notes in your sketchbook.

Requirements: 

1. Must design (symbols, quotes, etc.) the top of your cap and create a cylindrical base

2. Must use templates to create slabs

3. Must add coil on bottom of square slab 

4. Must add a small circle shape in the middle of the top of the cap for a tassel

5. Create design on scratch piece of paper then use chalk to transfer your design to the final slab

6. Use a pin tip glaze bottle to complete glaze
