Educators will explore ways to use data in an engineering experience. They will engineer an activity to allow students to determine criteria and constraints, design, collect and analyze data, and test one possible solution.
As you move through the online module, you will learn components of engineering design and you will use the design process to help you implement your bite-sized engineering design experience. This experience needs to be implemented before your cohort begins Session S207. Check with your Affiliate Trainer about the scheduled date of S207.
Remember, a bite-sized experience is one that can be completed with students within 1-2 class periods. Take a look at the examples. Some may need to be further developed to integrate all elements of engineering design.
