This course is a continuation of Spanish 2 and targets an Intermediate Low level of proficiency. There is an emphasis on all three modes of the language (interpretive, interpersonal and presentational communication) in order to enhance their skills in the Spanish language. Students are exposed to a variety of authentic materials which include texts, articles, videos, and short stories. The course includes several themes such as music, art, and street food.
This course also offers Blended Learning sections. Blended learning is an approach to learning that combines face-to-face and online learning experiences. There is a combination of student days in class and out of class. This flexible use of time allows the teacher to bring in small groups of students for targeted support and/or enrichment and it allows students to have more ownership over how, when and where they learn.
*Please note: In order to receive IU college credit in 4H-ACP, you will need to have taken Spanish 3H-ACP. Please take this into consideration when selecting this course.
