Students who have successfully completed Chinese 2 can expand their knowledge and usage in Chinese 3.  There is continued emphasis on the practical uses of Chinese in more complex structural forms. Students will begin to gain understanding of basic aspects of Chinese culture and make connections between Chinese and other subjects such as geography, social studies, and the fine arts. 

Depending on enrollment for any given year, this course may be stacked (combined) with Chinese 3 Honors. In a combined level section, students earning honors credit will have to completed additional work at higher level proficiency standards than regular credit students.
