Students in French 4 focus on communicative activities as a means of improving their proficiency in the three modes of communication: Interpersonal, Interpretive, and Presentational. Our course textbook is entitled, T'es Branché level 3, and we use it as our foundation for learning specific vocabulary and language structures.

In French 4, students work toward an intermediate-mid level of proficiency and strive to improve their ability to use the spoken language to communicate their thoughts, desires and needs. As the year progresses, students are exposed to an ever increasing amount of authentic materials in an attempt to increase their proficiency in the language.
