italian 2 HONORS

This course is a continuation of Italian 1 but with an accelerated pace and an emphasis on oral expression and comprehension.  Students continue to develop the four skills in the three modes of communication (presentational, interpersonal, and interpretive) and expand their knowledge of Italian culture. In addition to structural and vocabulary development, students will read and interpret readings, realia and other audio-visual material selected by the instructor.  Students will engage in conversations, write short compositions and participate in cultural activities.  Technology enhances and  intensifies the students listening and speaking ability in the target language.
