Annotation in Outcome 2

You will always see specific assessment criteria about annotations on your assessment rubric.

Stage 1: Research

You are being asked to use complex sentences such as the examples in purple (screenshots from the theory booklet below.)

You must complete this theory workbook as part of Outcome 2.

Complex sentence with cause and effect:

Noting a relationship between actions or events such that one or more are the result of the other or others.

For example, a man offends his neighbour by insulting him (the cause). His neighbour becomes angry (the effect and the next cause) and he in turn tells his friends (the next effect and cause). His friends also become angry (another effect and cause) and tell their friends (another effect and cause).

Stage 2: Idea Generation

When thinking critically you MUST consider what you were trying to achieve with the drawing or idea. To do this you need to refer to the assessment rubric, instructions AND DESIGN BRIEF..

For criteria 6 you need to to describe the functions and feature of elements and principles. See examples in screenshots from the theory booklet above in purple.

Stage 3: Concept Development
