The Putney Canteen is called the Bamboo Snack Shack and the new canteen manager is Tizzy who is working hard at the canteen every single day. The canteen is run by some parent volunteers and it is open 5 days a week, recess and lunch. It also has a variety of all different kinds of foods.

Tizzy used to work in a similar job in Drummoyne running a different canteen. She works in the canteen 6 to 6 and a half hours everyday. The best selling lunch orders are the Daily Delights. The new lasagna and beef nachos are really popular with us kids along with original pasta and pizza.

Have you tried Tizzy's lasagna? Do you know why it is so good? If you don’t, we can leak the secret ingredient to you. According to Tizzy the secret ingredient is love.

We asked Tizzy, “If you were a student, what would you choose from the menu other than your lasagna?” “If I'm a student it would be pizza," said Tizzy.

Now, here is a sneak peak of what the new items on the new lunch menu is going to be. There will be hot chocolates, hash browns, garlic bread and meatball subs, along with other counter sale things. Doesn’t that sound just delicious.

”Yes, I know they will most definitely be popular and so will the meatball subs. That will be one of our new weekly delights, so look out for that one. There'll be lots more delicious things too. Everything's delicious here.” said Tizzy.
