The school is slowly dressing up in a clean new outfit as school clean up day approaches Putney Public School!
Miss Flint chose to lead the school clean up day because she picks up rubbish at any given chance. Miss Flint also says that she knows that if we don't act now, the Earth will get worse, and the expiry date of humans will only get closer. This is why Miss Flint is more than happy to help with clean up schools day.
School clean up day took place at Putney Public School on week 7. Students were picking up rubbish tirelessly and afterwards, the school was spotless. This wonderful event lead by Miss Flint, has got the students to clean up the school.
Zach- "We know that having a lot of rubbish, and plastics, and different materials, we know that it can have a really poor impact on our environment. So we think it’s really important to educate students about the importance of caring doing those little things that make a big difference.”
Cleaning up Putney PS is not just important at school, students are learning to look after the environment. “Students take these skills out into the real world to care for our environment. It’s really important to educate students about the importance of caring, and doing those little things that make a big difference." The school clean up day really cleaned up our school like it was dressing up for Harmony Day.
