SCHOOLS SPECTACULAR 2023

2023 Deadly Kids Award is presented to Aurielle Smith in Year 10
This award is awarded by the NSW Department of Education Metropolitan South and West. The Award celebrates Aurielle’s deadly efforts and achievements in school.
Congratulations to all our students who completed the RAISE program. “RAISE strives to empower young minds through early intervention mentoring, equipping young people with lifelong skills for a brighter future.”
A huge thank you to all the mentors and the RAISE program facilitator Supreen for making this program such a success.
Talented Talahn Paki (Year 11) demonstrated her extraordinary skills at the 2023 NSW All School Athletics Championships at Sydney Olympic Park during the holidays, achieving 2nd in both the 400m hurdles & long jump!
Talahn then went on to compete at the All Schools Championship in Perth were she placed 3rd in the 400m hurdles and 4th in long jump - achieving a PB for both events!
Xavier had a fabulous weekend in the pool at SMSE LC, qualifying for Age Nationals (17yo) in 200m Butterfly, 100m Butterfly and 400IM, resulting in him attaining the 16yrs Age Champion. Xavier's 200m fly has also seen him qualify for the Open Nationals time.

Maya Germain started competing for Glebe PCYC in Aerobics Gymnastics this year, following 7 years of Artistic Gymnastics where she represented NSW.
After just a few weeks training, she competed in the National Clubs Gymnastics Australia competition and became Level 6 National Champion! She has been talent-scouted for a Junior International Team. They trial at the end of January and if successful she will be representing Australia in 2024 at international competitions. Fabulous achievement and success Maya!
