I hope you enjoy this bumper final edition of The Voice of Newtown for 2023. The Voice of Newtown is a deep dive into the learning at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts. It is a celebration of excellence and achievement across the school. This lengthy, final publication for the year, reflects the incredible expertise and dedication of our teachers and staff, and the efforts, talents and achievements of NHSPA students.  

I am honoured to be the new Principal of such a vibrant, dynamic, creative school. In the one Term I have been here I have been overwhelmed by the talent, the excellence, and the culture of collaboration. 

NHSPA community publications like this, along with our new fortnightly Bulletins, our Term 3 Year 12 Graduation Days, and our Term 4 Presentation Days, remind us all of the joy we find in learning, the collective effort we take to build a love of learning in our students, and the excellence, creativity and equity that are Newtown High School of the Performing Arts’ core values.
