Schools Spectacular 2023
Dancers from Years 8-12 proudly represented our school in over 4 performances along with many other musicians and actors from NHSPA. Many were featured in specific style ensembles such as Jazz, Hip Hop, Classical Ballet and Contemporary as well as the opening number.
Thank you to the Dance faculty who supported these students in this invaluable performance opportunity and to Emma Bathgate-Petersen who choreographed a segment for the State Junior Ensemble and other primary school students. Well done dancers!

Congratulations to all Year 12 Dance students on their hard work and dedication resulting in the following HSC Callback nominations. Callback is a showcase of the exemplary HSC practical works and our students received 57 nominations across 3 practical components this year! Well done Year 12!

Huge congratulations to all dancers on the End of Year Performance showcasing 2023's Semester 2 works choreographed by the Dance faculty and industry professional choreographers.
Auditions for 2024 Dance & Classical Ballet Companies and Styles Ensembles will be held in Week 2 next year. For details, contact the Dance Department.

Sydney Park project
Year 7 students choreographed a site specific performance piece. Their movement was designed using Space, Time and Dynamics in response to the environment down at Sydney Park. Well done on a creative, collaborative group project Year 7!
