Colyton High School is located in Colyton in western Sydney on traditional Dharug land.
Students from Colyton High School explored environmental art this term and created their own sculptures using discarded plastics.
The students constructed the sculptures using hot glue and objects that are single use or over produced.
They explored the environmental impacts plastic and micro plastics are having on our oceans and that they are continuing to devastate our environment.
Congratulations to the following students of Years 7 and 8 from Colyton High School for their wonderful submissions:
Christine, Georgina, Hailey, Jack, Jemima, Maddie, Sabrina, Shannice and Sophia.
