As part of #CAPAexplosion, we’re calling on all student beatmakers, producers, rappers, vocalists and bands to put their own spin on Supernova.
What you’ve got to do:
Download the stems to the song and use one, some or all of them to create something out of this world!
That’s it! There’s no rules, you can sing, rap, add your own beats, or record your own instruments - you can make it any genre or style you like - be as creative as you like.
Once you’ve made your very own remix, export the songs as an MP3 and email to creativeclasses@det.nswedu.au so we can share them!

Once you have your software installed and the stems downloaded, prepare your project by setting up the tempo and key.
The song is in D major and the tempo is 132 BPM.
You can either import all of the stems at once to see how the song works or get started, importing one at a time, slicing, trimming and effects and rearranging the layout to create a new version of Supernova.
