Let yourself ignite as Janvi, Zoe and Josie from Nepean Creative and Performing Arts High School teach us this Auslan inspired chorus of Supernova.
Use the video and the breakdown to learn the signs and be ready for the 15 September at 10 am to burn it up in the sky with us at the live stream.

Supernova - Auslan inspired signing

"Burning"
Both hand in front with fingers spread out and facing upwards.
Move hands in a small circular motion wiggling your fingers in front of you symbolising fire.
"up in the sky, going"
Take your hands to your right shoulder and do the 'fire' action in rainbow pattern up and over your head.
"Su - per - no - va"
With your right hand touch your thumb and middle finger together with the other fingers sticking up.
Do 4 flicking motions with your thumb and middle finger from your left shoulder over your head like a rainbow.
"Turn it up"
With both hand in front of you close your 3 middle fingers into a fist while keeping your pinkie finger and thumb sticking out.
In a circular motion move your hands in 2 circles
(8 counts)
"tonight, going"
Both hands in front of your chest with fingers closed and thumbs facing up.
Take your hand out and over your head and back to chest with one hand slightly in front of the other. Thumbs up.
"Su - per - no - va"
With your right hand touch your thumb and middle finger together with the other fingers sticking up.
Do 4 flicking motions with your thumb and middle finger from your left shoulder over your head like a rainbow.
"Let yourself"
Put both thumbs up and curl your pointer fingers over your thumb and make a fist.
Bend your knees slightly. Your left hand stays still and your right hand strikes at your left hand - like striking a match.
"ignite, going"
Both hand in front with fingers spread out and facing upwards.
Move hands in a small circular motion wiggling your fingers in front of you symbolising fire.

With your right hand touch your thumb and middle finger together with the other fingers sticking up.
Do 4 flicking motions with your thumb and middle finger from your left shoulder over your head like a rainbow.

Use your 2 pointer fingers and cross them over in front of you and point towards the ground
Take your right pointer finger and bounce it off your left pointer finger once .
"speed of light we’ll"
Your pointer finger and middle finger make a V near your left eye.
Then take your V out and look around the room and bring you V back to your right eye.
Ex-pl -oo-ode"
Both hand out in front of your body with fingers spread out and palm facing chest
Pump your hands 3 times as if your bursting out of your chest.
Ex-pl -oo-ode"
With lots of energy take both hand above your head with fingers spread out and palm facing out. do a big explosion of your hands over your head.
Get ready to repeat again for the next chorus!
