Using StoryStarter kits, students are encouraged to combine imagination and language to create, write and visualise stories. Students work together to create and build stories with LEGO bricks and figures, then use computers or iPads to visualise, write and communicate their work.
We have:
5 Lego crates of StoryStarter bricks and figures (kept in the library storeroom)
A StoryStarter curriculum book that has instructions and lesson materials - a printed copy is kept with the set, but also available on the link below.
Use Book Creator (or similar) on the iPads to tell the story.
Or have students build the story, then simply tell the story to practise their speaking skills.
