This is the software we have purchased to use with the 3D printer.
It is usually loaded onto desktop 10 (closest destop computer to the 3D printer) but if needed can be downloaded from this website by logging in:

The PLA Filament The printer uses PLA filament, which is plant based so non-toxic and environmentally friendly. Verbatim is the best and can be purchased from Office Max @ $35.46 + gst per spool. https://www.verbatim.com.au/files/index/download/id/1470875848/
PLA FILAMENT - EXPLAINED: https://all3dp.com/1/pla-filament-3d-printing/#section-pla-filament-explained
3D printing filament storage is extremely important no matter what material type you have on the spool. When left out in the open, these plastics tend to absorb water from the air, and this humidity can cause some massive problems in your 3D printing experience.
Making a 3D printer enclosure:
The easiest one I have found is: http://www.instructables.com/id/3d-Printer-Enclosure-from-Upcycled-Furniture/...using a table from Ikea $7.99 + cost of perspex. Table is 55 X 55 and printer is 480 X 400 X 400 so should be a good fit. Exhaust fan can be recycled from one of the old computers waiting for disposal or just leave open at the back. There is already an exhaust fan located above the printer.SketchUp online have added comprehensive lesson support for their tutorial activities.
